Happy Monday, Snackers đ
Most of my Stack Snacks work happens in short windows after the day job. This week I handed a chunk of it to one app and kept score.
This issue is all about Claude Duet. The Claude personal agent that can work on tasks and be a true personal assistant.
Brand pitches: keep. I used to miss sponsorship deals because replying took too long. Now I ask it what brand pitches came in. It pulls every one, tells me which are worth my time, and drafts a reply for each. The replies ask the brand for its budget first, and what my viewers could actually try today. I tweak, I hit send, done.
One doc for every issue: keep. I asked for a template and one tab per issue. Now every draft sits in one place, and the template ends with a checklist so I donât forget the Notes and X posts. This email was drafted there.
Tasks and reminders: keep. Everything I hand off shows up on a Tasks page with where it stands. Each morning I get a short brief, plus check-ins through the day. It also flags emails I might have missed that have a real deadline, before the deadline passes. One brief told me exactly what was left to paste and which evening block was free for a video.
Channels for each part of life: keep, if you have more than one thing going. I have a channel for Stack Snacks, one for family and one for my day job. Each keeps its own subject. The family one manages my calendar and built me an updated expense tracker in Notion. The day job one built docs, dashboards and a task tracker for work. Newsletter ideas donât get buried under any of it.
Working with zero check-ins: wait. It still needs you for the last step, and thatâs on purpose. It drafts, you send. Proof: a couple of weeks ago I had a full issue written and linked, and I never sent it. That oneâs on me, not the app. If you want something that runs your business while you ignore it, this isnât it yet.
Skip: if youâre after another place to plan. One more tool wonât help you finish things. Use it to clear the stuff you keep putting off.
My verdict: I think this is worth your time. Opus 5.5 feels like it can do anything and Claude duet runs that for every task. If you want to get started with an agent and playing with these workflow the Claude product is simple and easy to get moving.
